First, adjust the snaps to get the right fit for your baby. Doing this before changing your squirmy baby will make things much easier. If you're using liners (either mess-free or revolutionary reusable), place one in the center of the diaper.
Next, lay your baby on the open diaper and pull the front up, securing it in place by using the adjustable tabs.
Check that the gussets and fabric are tucked in and that the elastic trim sits at the leg line. For a comfortable fit, you should be able to easily slide two fingers into the waistband at the front.
